2nd Annual Sportsman’s Club Kickoff Dinner

The Sportsman’s Club is a fundraising arm of the Rise School of Austin comprised of volunteer men whose main goal is to support Rise Austin and educate the community about its programs. In August the Sportsmen host a Kickoff Dinner at The Four Seasons Hotel to benefit The Rise School of Austin. In 2007, the dinner included a speech by Mack Brown, a question and answer session with Brown and his coaching staff, and a surprise performance of “Texas Fight” by The University of Texas Longhorn Alumni Band. Guests included Darrell K. Royal, Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, and Bill Little, “The Voice of the Longhorns.”
2nd Annual Heart & Sole

Heart & Sole is a fundraising event hosted by a committee of volunteer women to benefit Rise Austin and educate the community about its programs. The event is held in the fall, and popular local Austin shops donate pairs of shoes to be raffled off to guests by a surprise guest emcee. Past sponsors include Allens Boots, Betty Sport, By George, Elle Boutique, Emeralds, The Garden Room, Julian Gold, Neiman Marcus, Ralph Lauren and Talbots.
Annual Donor Luncheon
Each November, The Rise School of Austin hosts a Donor Luncheon in appreciation of its supporters, complete with a full Thanksgiving Dinner spread. The event is held at the school and features a special performance by the students and a special guest speaker.
