Jolanda Sinegal

Master of Educational Psychology/Low Incidence Disabilities, Texas A&M
University, College Station, Texas.  Her experience includes kindergarten and first grade. Completed her graduate internship work at The Rise School of Houston.  She joined Rise as a teacher in 2005.

Kristen Devine
Graduated from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas with a Master’s Degree in Low Incidence Disabilites. Previous experience includes four years  as a preschool inclusion teacher in College Station I.S.D.

Tracie Frederick
M.Ed Early Childhood/Special Education University of Houston.
She started her  teaching career at Rise in 2004. Recently was Director of Ministry for children with special needs.

Graduated from The University of Houston with a M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education.
Previous experience includes teaching preschool and first grade.

Erica Kelley

Bachelor of Science, Psychology; Completing her Master’s in Special Education from the University of Houston
Began her teaching career at Rise in 2011.  Has done volunteering and substitute teaching at Rise.

Brooke Nyberg
Boston University School of Education, Boston, MA  Bachelor of Science in Special Education.

Currently pursuing her Master’s in early childhood education. Her experience includes teaching in a PPCD classroom and a preschool teacher in an integrated classroom.  She has been teaching at Rise since 2008.

Nan Robinson

Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling Education, University of Southwestern Louisiana.  Bachelor of Arts in Special Education/Elementary Education, Louisiana Tech University.
She has been a teacher at Rise since 2000. .
Recipient of the 2005 Marian & Speros Martel Early Childhood Educator of the Year Award.

Menomanee Smith
Bachelor of Arts Psychology, Texas Southern University.  Child Development Associate Credential.  Currently pursuing her Master’s In Early Childhood/Special Education.
She joined Rise in 2005 and has been a classroom teacher since 2008.

Beverly Taube

Master’s In Early Childhood/Special Education; Bachelor of Arts in Music, Baylor University
Ms. Taube has been a teacher at Rise since 2005. 

Music Therapist
Veronica Butler

Master’s in Education in Assessment, Curriculum and Instruction.
Bachelor of Music Therapy specializing in Psychology and Middle Eastern/ African Percussion and Philosophies from Sam Houston State University.
Board Certified Music Therapist, Certified FitRhythms Instructor, Kindermusik Educator, and Clinical Training Director of AMTA approved internship site at Rise.
