Admission

Children with developmental disabilities are admitted to the Rise School of Houston following an initial screening, comprehensive evaluation, and design of an Individualized Intervention Plan which is based on the recommendations of a team of professionals and the child's family. The comprehensive evaluation consists of a series of assessments that involve an educator, physical and/or occupational therapist, speech-language pathologist, music therapist and the family. Families of children who do not have disabilities, must complete an admission packet. Admission is based on the evaluation, the child's age and the availability of space in the classroom.
