Rise currently has a staff of a director, assistant director,
service coordinator/ RN, secretary, 6 teachers, 13 teacher assistants,
6 supported employment teacher assistants, a music therapist,
a physical therapist, an occupational therapist, 3 speech therapists,
and 2 graduate assistants
Teacher Requirements:
Master's Degree in Special Education with early childhood
experience or Enrolled in a Master's program in early childhood
special education
Teacher Assistant Requirements:
High school diploma or its equivalency;
Experience in working with young children
Supported Employment Teacher Assistant
Requirements: Job training
and employment support through the ARC of Tuscaloosa
