of Alabama. Director of the Rise School at The University of
Alabama since 1986.

Lauren Humber
Lauren obtained her Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Alabama and has her LGSW state license. She initially joined Rise as a social work intern in January 2006 and was hired as Rise’s Social Worker in September 2006.

Franny Jones
Bachelor's Degree in Child Development, The University of Alabama.
Experience includes 1 year of Christ Episcopal Preschool and
3 years of substitute teaching at Rise. She is an administrative
assistant.

Leigh Pate
Service Coordinator
Bachelor's degree in International studies from the School of International Training, Brattleboro, VT. Eleven years experience in Early Intervention prior to joining the RISE program in 2006. Fluent in Spanish. Certified massage therapist and Infant Massage instructor.

Deanne Barnett
Office Associate II
20 years experience in office administrative duties including three years with University Medical Center Pediatrics. Before joining the RISE team she spent five years working with Early Intervention.
