Lead Teacher Requirements M.S. Degree in Special Education with early childhood experience or enrolled in a M.S. program and/or prior experience at another Rise School
Teacher Assistant Requirements Have or currently working on either a CDA or an associate’s degree or higher in ECE-SPED or equivalent
Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists Are provided on a contract basis through Texas Children’s Hospital
Administrative and Education Needs Internship Rise has opportunities for unpaid part-time to full-time internships that provide recipients with excellent, hands-on experience in the administrative side of a not-for-profit educational institution. Successful candidates will have completed or are working towards undergraduate or graduate degrees in business, management, accounting, communications, education and related fields.
Accounting Internship Rise seeks an undergraduate or graduate accounting or business student to help it develop a fixed assets schedule.
Communications/Development Internship In conjunction with the development director, this intern assists in the design and production of the newsletter and on all aspects of special events
Evaluation/Data Results Internship Rise seeks a graduate student in education to work with the executive director on projects to design, collect and utilize short and long-term data on student’s and family’s experience post-Rise.
Student Teaching Internships and observations for teachers and therapists should be coordinated through the students’ educational institutions.
