Volunteer
Community members, parents and young adults are encouraged to volunteer at Rise. Volunteers are at the heart of our work and make the difference in the lives of the children, families, and staff members at Rise. Volunteers may be utilized in the classrooms, assisting in the office and library, or at community fundraising events such as the Sporting Clays and Golf Tournaments. Every day, volunteers fulfill essential needs by providing additional educational opportunities for children, support to teachers and administration, and opportunities for involvement in the community with fundraising. Rise values a sense of connection with members of the community, and we look forward to partnering with you to help make Rise shine bright.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Menomanee Smith, 713-532-RISE (7473) or [email protected]. Young adults must be at least 14 years old and generally volunteer during their summer breaks from 8 am to 11 am for six weeks. Click here to view our volunteer application. |
